Hand Series by Agenda Brown
Prosthetics

Agency: Mediorite
Produced by Lucy Ferguson
Director of Photography – Piotr Karter

This short film delves into the creative journey of photographer Agenda Brown as he shifts from his well-known “Hands” series to exploring the relationship between individuals and their prosthetic limbs. Shot over a single day with a two-person crew, the film follows Agenda in his studio as he engages with the nuances of identity, adaptation, and the personal connection people have with their prosthetics.

Using one camera for both the interview and b-roll, I captured an intimate look at Agenda’s creative process—from the morning interviews to the afternoon photography sessions.

To maintain an authentic feel, we used minimal lighting—just one light with a softbox—to create a natural yet refined atmosphere. The result is a powerful visual narrative that reveals Agenda’s intent to highlight the individuality and resilience of his subjects through thoughtful interactions and artistic experimentation.
