Piotr is an outstanding DOP. Beyond exceptionally high technical and visual skills, he balances a meticulous eye with real warmth and generosity. On set, he’s never content with mediocre and is always searching for (and usually finding) the very best way to bring alive the film script, concept and feel. At Lark, we always feel relaxed if Piotr is DOP on one of our shoots, as we know he’ll be brilliant with any contributors, and has the experience to solve any challenges calmly and creatively.

Piotr was a real pleasure to work with on a two day video shoot. One day of filming was in a supporter’s house and Piotr showed a lot of consideration around being in their space, always making sure they were comfortable with what was happening and clearing up as quickly as possible afterwards. We were filming with a range of people, some who were bereaved, someone in active treatment, and young children and Piotr was kind and sensitive at all times. He put everyone at ease, created a relaxed atmosphere, and just made the process easy for everybody involved.
